Crazy Kids!

After spending an hour in Walmart, the kids were acting a little strange! They were all wanting to ride on  Mr. Airplane out front! I'm not sure, but I think there might be a weight/age limit!!! ;)  LOL

Teefth Check Time!

 Ashton went to the dentist and had his teeth cleaned! As you can see, he was not very happy to be there.  But after they got started, he had a little fun! He really likes Mr. Sprinkler, but he's not so crazy about Mrs. Blow Dryer! The best part of all, no cavities!!!  LoL

Like Father, Like Sons!

 Last night Abby had bible drill at church, so while waiting on her to get done, the guys shot some hoops! It was so cute watching Ashton try to do exactly what his dad was doing!  They had fun just hanging out!

Overcoming things that consume you!

Today, I was thinking about things in my life that can consume me if I'm not careful.  Sometimes, I find myself getting caught up in stuff that's not important! I try to limit myself on how much time I spend, for instance, on the computer.  Everyone these days has either Facebook, Twitter, or Myspace and not to mention the new thing out Pinterest!  I have a few friends that are constantly posting on  their Facebook or seeing what others are doing every minute on the hour! It's crazy!  Nothing is wrong with any of these social sites, its just whenever it becomes your main focus  like for alot of people,  that's when its becoming an idol in your life! One reason that our family hasn't joined any of these, is mainly because I know it would consume all of us!  I just recently started blogging after I thought about it for a while and decided that it would be fun for our family to connect with other family and friends. One night, when the kids were getting ready for bed, I told them I would come and tuck them in after I'm done updating my blog. Well, 30 minutes went by and then an hour and a half later, I walked in their bedrooms and they were already asleep! I watched them while they slept and all that I could think of is how I picked blogging over my kids!  I felt horrible! I've  noticed that I  have been a little addicted to taking pic's and trying to post them as soon as I can! But that night was a real eye opener!  Don't let all of these things become your main priority in life! They can overcome you and blind you from what's really important!

Today was a great day, I went and had lunch with Ashton!  Afterwards, we went on the playground and I got a little picture happy, as you can see! : ^)  He had lots of fun just playing in the dirt!

 Ok, so I walk outside and this is what I see!!! Santa and his little elves!! They were in my backyard putting up a fence for their reindeer! Be careful and look closely, they are dressed in disguise so no one would recognize them! Shhhh, this is how Santa spends his time during the off season!  ;-)

Abby's Project!

 Abigale had to draw the Panama Canal, label each part, and collect different information about it!  She did awesome!!!
