As if December's not busy enough. Today was a day full of B-Day parties! :^)

Austin's Big 14!!!

Wow! I can't believe we have a 14 year old! Everyone has always told me that children grow up in a blink of an eye. I can definitely see that now! Where has the time went? I must have kept my eyes closed a littler longer! :( I am so proud of the young man he has become. Happy Birthday Buddy!

Toofless!!!

After picking Ashton up from school today, he showed me what happened today. He lost his toof! :0

1st Christmas in Heaven!

Today I went to put  a Christmas tree up for my mom and brother. Its been 7 years since my little brother has been gone. This past May I lost my mom. Its been difficult with everything that has happened and its especially going to be harder during the holidays. I miss her so much and think about her everyday. Merry Christmas to you both!

I came across this video and thought to myself about how many times I have overlooked someone who was hurting.  The only thing I could come up with is that I'm a very selfish person. Sometimes its just a simple smile that can make someone feel like you care. I know I can't fix everything, but I know I can pray to God, who can!

All Regions

Today was a very important day for Austin.  He is in advanced band and had a state competition in Sherwood.  He had to be at school at 6:30 in the morning to catch a ride on the bus! The competition lasted all day until 6:00. On top of that, its Saturday, the only day he gets to sleep in! He's an Awesome kid and I'm so proud of him! Way to go Austin!

Trip to the Library!

Once a week we try to stop by the Library and get some books and maybe some movies ( if they have any good one's in) for the weekend!  Its funny, every time we go  there, he heads straight to his favorite book section which is "The Diary of a Whimpy Kid"!  I wonder with a title like that, oh nevermind, at least he's reading! :)
