Ashton's 8th Birthday Party!

This year we had Ashton's b-day party at The Centre of Bryant!  It was a very nice place.  He has always wanted a pool party, but having a b-day in  April,  there aren't a lot of  pools open. So he was very excited!!!   The theme was " Angry Birds"! It turned out great and I would definitely recommend this place!

Ashton's Early B-Day Gift!

My sweet little man, Ashton, will be turning 8 years old on April 23rd! I can't believe it!  He has grown up so fast!  I have had some friends do the interview game with their children, so I decided that this year would probably be best. I know I'm cutting it close to the "to big for this" limit, but I'm kind of behind on everything! (Really) Being that he's turning 8 and not 3 or 4,  I'm sure I'll get some pretty intellegent answers! ;)

1. Me:  What one word describes you best sweetie?
    Ashton:  I'm weird
    Me: OK, I'm still trying to figure this one out.

2. Me: What's your favorite food in the whole wide world?
    Ashton:  #1 is Cotton Candy, #2 is Shrimp, #3 is mmmmm Pizza!

3. Me: What's your favorite color?
    Ashton: Light Blue!

4. Me: What is your most happiest memory ever?
    Ashton: Our family all together
    Me: Its amazing to hear an 8 yr old say that. Out of all the places he's been and all that he has gotten, he says "Family"!

5. Me: Who's your favorite super hero?
    Ashton: Jesus!!!
    Me: That sweet answer made my heart happy!

6. Me: What do you want to be when you grow up?
    Ashton: A Fireman

7. Me: Where's your favorite vacation spot?
    Ashton: He shouted Hawaii! 
    Me: I'm thinking, That's my boy!  He dreams big too!

8.  Me: Why do you like having a big brother? 
     Ashton: Because he has a metal bat!
     Me: Hmmm. That's good to know.

9.  Me: Why do you like having a big sister?
     Ashton: She let's me sleep with her when I'm scared and she protects me from tornado's.

10. Me: Why do Mom and Dad love you so much?
      Ashton: Because I was your anniversary gift and because you love me!
      Me: Because your so sweet and  caring.... HAPPY BIRTHDAY!  We do love you very much!

Camp Winnomoka!

 Today, Ashton had his fieldtrip at school. He was so exicted!  I think his favorite part was being in a fort that's a two story castle and throwing water balloons at the girls!  I enjoyed watching him act like they were all army people!  Oh Yeah,  They really know how to give a dog a bone!  Ya think! ;)

Poor little bird is stuck in a nest on our front door!  Everytime we go in and out it probably feels like its having an earthquake!  Lol

Best Bud's!

Our friend's from Ohio came down the week of Easter!  We all got together and hung out!  The kid's  always have a blast when they come down! Were hoping that we can make a trip up there this summer!

Time's like these are sweet!  Abby and I hardly ever get any girl time!  In a house full of rowdy boys, I tend to forget that I have a precious little lady! 

Egg Hunt At The Clinton Library!

These are a few pic's that I took during the egg hunt!  We actually missed the hunting part, but they had other activities going on that the kid's really enjoyed. At the end of the day, they had a couple of contest. One of them was hot potato, they played some music while passing a cd around.  Abby was so excited that she won!  Poor thing never wins anything, so I'm very happy she did! It made her day! After that, we watched a magic show.  Ashton got picked to help out with one of the tricks. The BIG kids thought it was cheesy, but Ashton had a blast!
